  While studying on the RCA's MA Visual Communication course I discovered that I have a strong interest in considering various group settings and developing ways to improve the wellbeing, creative output or general happiness of the participants. Through another workshop/session, I have also… Show more While studying on the RCA's MA Visual Communication course I discovered that I have a strong interest in considering various group settings and developing ways to improve the wellbeing, creative output or general happiness of the participants. While I was a student in the programme I have held a workshop in which I trained attendees to use a mobile phone app to create photomontages that they may have assumed would not be possible without a computer. Through another workshop/session, I have also helped to assure others in the RCA that the “impostor experience” is not unusual and that discussion helps to alleviate it. Alongside this, I have been working on a group intervention related to depression. My final show piece at the RCA included a bus stop that I constructed, with the surrounding gallery area transformed into a buzzing hub for social interaction. Show less
