We primarily host major hands-on projects and bring in speakers and networking contacts for students in and out of engineering excited about the possibilities of air and space technologies.As a member, and now President of the chapter, I aim to continuously connect students to the right opportunities: conferences, research, projects, and more.   As an intern in the Johnson & Johnson Collaborative Laboratory (3D Printing Center of Excellence) at the College of Engineering, I have designed and executed experiments dedicated to cutting polymers and gadgetry assembly costs by factor of 20. With access to world-class analytical equipment, I have also investigated adhesive and epoxy curing processes in medical device industry to identify and address root-causes.
