  Advisory Board member for Long Island Bulldog Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization serving the entire Northeast and eastern Canada. In charge of all fundraising efforts for the rescue. Responsibilities include volunteer management, public relations and communications (including all social media outlets), event budgets, contract negotiations with vendors, solicitation and maintenance of corporate sponsors, donors and patrons. Produce and develop a wide variety of events from monthly local meet-ups to major regionally recognized cocktail parties, art auctions, NYC Broadway theater events, and vendor fairs. Collaborate with Board members, other Advisory Board members, subcommittee members, and an army of volunteers to insure success of campaigns, events and programs for the rescue. One such collaboration that I created entailed recruiting, creating and managing a dozen teams of volunteers across the entire Northeast region. The teams set up booths at the highest trafficked Petco stores to educate the store staff and their customers about what we do as a rescue. In doing so, our visibility to the greater community has grown substantially leading to an increased level and frequency of donations, the numbers of “fans”, new volunteers, patrons and foster/adoption candidates and corporate interest.
