  During this time, I was leading two different teams, Remote Sensing (2014-2017, 2020-2023) and Big data industrial applications team (2017-2019). VTT Remote Sensing team develops methods and tools for processing of big data derived from satellite imagery, automatic sensors and auxiliary sources. The team had a strength of around 15 people, and it concentrated on creating applications for natural resource monitoring, situational awareness, Big Data processing and platform ecosystems.In Big data industrial applications team we developed and applied advanced analysis tools and methods for open and other big data ranging from human based measurements to automatic sensors and satellite imagery. We were specialized in industrial applications for natural resources monitoring, telecommunication, content processing, defence and civil security. I was leading a team of 24 people.Responsibilities:• People leadership: recruiting and developing talents, wellbeing.• Building a research agenda for the team and research project portfolio based on it.• Project management and research work both in jointly funded and customer projects.• Research area leadership teamwork.• International collaboration, for example EARTO Space.
