  Cutco Corporation, formerly Alcas Corporation, is a U.S.-based company that sells knives, predominantly through direct sales or multi-level marketing. As a Sales Representative, I Present Cutco products for sale direct to the consumer, through preset appointments. Filling and submitting customer orders and identifying potential customers through personal referral and lead generation. My performance at CUTCO was above average than other sales associates because of the way I would allow the script I was using to mold to my personality to create a better pitch and I totaled over 75 appointments that were held via zoom or over the phone where we were compensated $15.00 per appointment, regardless of if an item was bought. I made a few sales, but the pivot point that allowed me to generate so many appointments was my client book and the people I am able to reach out to that not only would be interested in the product but also enjoyed speaking with me as a person. At the time I worked this job, I was 17 turning 18 in June and was working with a few people of the same age, most people were typically in their early twenties or some even in their thirties and forties. This job was not only a great resume foundation for a brighter future in sales/finance but also allowed me to get closer to mastering the sales technique and language that will be applicable in all forms of future employment in the sales industry.
