      - Developed hardware and firmware for thermo-hygrometer with ModBus RS-485 communication. The project is based on the SAM L10 microcontroller, coded with a mix of ASF4 and bare-metal manipulation for optimization;- Developed a serial production code based on Python for live “.hex” binary firmware manipulation that edit linker–defined memory sections of the microcontroller to write production data like serial and part numbers, saves the production data to remote database and flashes the product without requiring many user inputs;- Programmed several projects based on Altus PLCs with Structured Text language, like Human-Machine Interfaces, Dashboards, automation of procedures from the calibration laboratory, weather stations, test jigs, etc.;- Developed hardware and firmware for both an anemometer and anemoscope with derivative magnetic field sensing and analog voltage signal output;- Developed hardware and firmware for a digital PT100 RTD temperature transmitter with ModBus RS-485 communication;- Created a Hub box for RS-485 splitting with galvanic and optical isolation and surge protection, meant to protect solarimetric equipment attached to photovoltaic solar trackers from lighting. Show less - Debugged and patched schematics and software of a portable data logger and weather station projects based on the Atmel SAM D21 microcontroller. Patches include supply protection circuits, power consumption, watchdog, footprints, logic, etc;- Repaired several industrial electronic equipment, like calibration machines, weather stations, data loggers and embedded computing devices;- Responsible for calibration and reporting of pressure, temperature and relative humidity sensing devices. Maintained the reference machines, studied them for future automation, elaborated statistical methods for comparative calibration and trained personnel;- Integrated numerous equipment, like sensors, transceivers, modems, and programmed data loggers and PLCs from several brands for the weather and solar industry;- Executed scientific study for product validation, a thermally insulating mantle. The procedure was inspired by civil engineering standards for evaluating insulation and consisted in the data crossing of net solar radiance data, collected from pyranometers and pyrgeometers, with temperature gradient data, collected from PT100 RTDs, and heat flux data, collected from heat flux pads;- Executed hardware updating in a barometer project with voltage analog signalling to an 32 bit Arm processor and newer ICs;- Developed hardware and firmware for an thermo-hygrometer with voltage output. The project is based on the ultra-low-power Atmel SAM L10, coded with ASF4, and has a power draw of less than 13mW;- Developed a fully analog PT100 RTD temperature transmitter with 4-20mA current loop signal output with 0.2ºC accuracy, carrying power and communication on the same loop over long distances, requiring only two wires;- Created a battery tester and logger using Arduino, INA219 and INA121. The project allowed to generate power consumption graphs to evaluate power saving measures, detect flaws in low power projects, precisely measure their total autonomy and testing cells; Show less

As a R&D Payload Developer at Xmobots, I focus on the integration and development of technologies for our unmanned aerial vehicles. My responsibilities include integrating a variety of systems, such as range finders, laser designators, multispectral, thermal, and long-range cameras. I also develop new technologies, including active image stabilization systems. Additionally, I develop desktop applications for interfacing payloads and ground stations, which are used for camera control, telemetry, and sensor data acquisition. Show less
