      The internship activity was focused on the advanced characterization on semiconductor devices, in particular on the Cu interconnection in a ICs, using an advanced probe station and a Semiconductor Parameter Analyzer HP 4156C. Every three weeks it was necessary to present the data during meetings, where with some represent manager from Samsung or Intel we had some heated discussion about the daily problem.

Show less The activity is focused in different steps that starting from the data collection, analysis and study of the production system arrives to the implementation of new action plan focused to optimize the production line efficiency. Moreover it is necessary develop new documentations about new standards applied in production line, used to support new training for operators. Every day is possible develop the knowledge in term of problem solving and team work with figure with scores of years of experience on field.       Site Continuous Improvement Leader for the Factory Leader of Open+ development plan across the whole factory. The aim of this function is to roll out implementation of Open + methodology to improve Capability of leaders and shop floor population to deliver breakthrough results. • Outstanding results achieved across all operational excellence KPIs. Worth mentioning: 30% cost productivity of the factory, improving by Factory performance across all lines, reducing by more than 90% the number of Safety and Quality incident for PMI and contractors. Uptime growth +6%, productivity growth +8%, doubling MTBF, setting the base for future business achievements. Responsible for the Global and Regional Autonomous Pillar with key focus on how to deploy the Autonomous Maintenance Steps to deliver the expected performance increase.• AM Global content improvements: Several CBAs developed, entire Global Pillar network working to contribute for the AM steps deployment, Regional Pillar structure, AM execution strategy CBA, align expectation of each level of the organization to contribute to the AM journey, making AM/Open+ implementation simpler, more concrete, pragmatic and more effective.
