  My job involved working with young people within the community. My hours were split between administration duties in the office to support the youth work and carrying out activities with the young people. Duties would involve answering telephone queries, liaising with stakeholders, updating and maintaining youth centre documentation (risk assessments, budgets etc), creating session plans, emailing team information and also liaising with community police officers. I would also develop monthly reporting and monitoring for the youth work, as well as scoping and scheduling activities to support the young people and working with them. Show less

Assembling the Arts Out West menu for touring activity.Helping to maintain and update databasesUpdating spreadsheet records of performances, financial and statistical information. Answering customer and artists phone callsResponding to email enquiriesAfter being in post for almost 6 months, I was able to drop ‘trainee’ from my title, at the opinion of the Artistic Director.   In June 2019 I began working at Theatre By The Lake on their summer season, as Stage Management Cover. I had to learn 6 shows in a very small amount of time in a high pressured show environment.
