  As Principal, I have had the great privilege and responsibility of serving as instructional leader for 100+ staff and 1000+ students. One of my greatest responsibilities was the recruitment and retention of quality staff members through our standardized hiring process, for which I was an original collaborator. I have hired 23+ staff and share in the evaluation of 66 certified and 35 non-certified staff members. My responsibilities also include the evaluation and supervision of two Assistant Principals. Additionally, building safety and operations were among my duties, as well as direct responsibility for a $3.8M building budget. I had also newly generated a master schedule that provides for social and emotional instruction, time for teachers to collaborate as a team and department, and regular tiered intervention in Reading and Math.   Responsible for recruitment/retention of staff, student registration, enrollment projections, staffing allocations, union relations, personnel management, and evaluations. Thankful for the opportunity to serve those who serve our students. Created a Department of Human Resources as Director for 6 buildings, 600 staff members, and 3600 students. Leading District through reductions in force, crucial cabinet hires, employee discipline and dismissals, ACA reporting, several contract negotiations, analysis of construction and enrollment trends, and the creation of standardized hiring practices for all instructional hires.
