      I work as a member of the catering staff at London racing venues looking after corporate clients, racing professionals and members of the public. I have gained experience in adhering tocorrect cash handlingprocedures and till management. I have responsibility for ensuring that bar stocks and cash drawers remain secure during opening hours and am held in a position of trust within the organisation. Through obtaining Team Leader status, I am also responsible for my area, and the staff within the area, therefore being the first point of contact for staff queries and any issues that arise throughout the duration of the shift.       At Sandown Park I worked with the conference, exhibitions and sponsorship teams supporting the business development executives with system management, projects and general administration. I drafted exhibition contracts throughout all three racecourses in the region, as well for conferences at Sandown Park. I also undertook all invoicing for exhibitions and sponsorship as well as all paperwork both prior to and post event or race day. For sponsorship I was responsible for all ticket printing and posting and liaising with our catering team to ensure the client has been contacted for any catering requirements. I also organised the annual exhibition client race day which was very exciting to organise and see the end result on the day; as well as hosting on a number of race days specific to exhibitions. I was also involved on feature race days with the sponsorship team such as the Epsom Derby and Tingle Creek Festival, which I enjoy greatly. I was also actively involved in marketing around exhibitions through producing our monthly exhibitions ecomm, managing our Sandown and Kempton Events twitter accounts, ensuring all posters and flyers were distributed when provided by clients, along with ensuring website content management for all three racecourses and the group Jockey Club Venues website. I was the first point of contact for clients from enquiry stage through to payment and final changes, such as dietary requirements and drinks upgrades. Through using EBMS (Event Business Management Software), I tracked every stage of my bookings as well as raising invoices for all Sandown bookings and Kempton and Epsom exhibitions. I also processed all commission invoices for Sandown as well as drafting and issuing contracts and other event specific documentation as required. I provided the service for the Regional Sales team to hand over all events, conferences and box bookings to the Catering Sales team via event information sheets.       Within The Open Championship Hospitality team I supported all Sales Executives and the Sales Director with CRM management, travel, car hire and accommodation reservations, invoicing, forecasting, credit control and operations in the lead up and during The Open. I’ve had the privilege of being involved with organising sponsor beverages for promotional events, liaising with Stella Artois in Belgium along with Champagne Barons de Rothchilds in Reims, France. Operationally I was responsible for ticket fulfillment and any issues during the day as well as information for our operations team including table plans and dietary requirements. As the sole account manager for all third party enquiries and bookings, I provided all marketing material for agents ensuring that all package information was accurate and updated to refrain from customer confusion and to manage expectations throughout the customer journey. Additionally I provided all information for all queries, updating third parties on price changes, package alterations or additions and updated availability. As the main point of contact for private suite holders with regards to operations I ensured that all runs smoothly at the event (doing show rounds where required) and assisting with all material delivered to and sent from site along with all documentation and required information prior to the event. I also followed up post event to distinguish customer satisfaction and feedback thus enhancing client relations throughout the process. As well as managing office administration, I was also involved in marketing within The Open, providing proof reading of all marketing collateral and liaising with our selected marketing agency for information packs, site maps and competition cards.
