Douglas Burroughs Professional Commitment Award The Counselor Education Department at The College of New Jersey May 2019 The Douglas Burroughs Professional Commitment Award honors a counselor education student who has demonstrated outstanding service to the community or exhibited courage and perseverance in pursuit of graduate studies. This award was created in memory of the late Douglas Burroughs, a former TCNJ counseling student and campus leader who overcame numerous hardships during his long quest to complete his graduate degree in counseling.

Speech Competition — President's Award — Best Speaker The Speech Competition at Bergen Community College Apr 2011 Won first place in the public speaking competition for my speech, "Driving into the Future" in the Fourth Annual Speech Competition on Contemporary Issues at Bergen Community College.
