  Identified the need for science and research to guide governance, financing, management and decision- making there by established the One Mara Research Hub. Briefly, the OMRH's core objectives were to 1) collate scientific findings from the Mara ecosystems: 2) strengthen collaboration of between various stakeholder groups and 3)enhance collaboration between researchers and investors. Key successes and achievements include $350,000 raised for the operationalization of the OMRH secretariat  Built a network of over 200 professionals who include researchers, conservancy managers, county government officials and national government officials Coordinated the contribution of researchers and inclusion of scientific findings in keydecision making processes within the Mara-Serengeti Landscape including technical contributions for the Narok County Land Use Plan 2022-2032 and the Greater Maasai Mara Ecosystem Management Plan 2022-2032 Designed and carried out research projects in partnership with scientists working in the Mara-Serengeti Ecosystem including Kenya Wildlife Service, Wildlife Research and Training Institute (Kenya), Smithsonian Institute (USA), Nottingham Trent University (UK), Groningen University (Netherlands), Kenya Forest Service among others.
