  • Define, develop and implement the strategy for Gas Distribution Management Information• Analyse performance data, identify trends and liaise with key stakeholders across the business to enhance the capability and performance of Gas Distribution’s core processes through the identification, creation, testing and delivery of new Management Information.• Manage the development and implementation of the governance framework underpinning the delivery and verification of data to support Gas Distribution’s statutory and regulatory reporting obligations.• Ensure effective communications/interfaces are in place between the team and relevant internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the sharing of best practice in performance reporting. • Appoint, develop, motivate and appraise staff to create a multi-skilled, flexible team.• Manage and utilise the appropriate National Grid HR policies and procedures, (eg sickness absence, performance and disciplinary) to ensure compliance.• Manage the process of agreeing staff objectives, reviewing performance, identifying development plans and monitoring staff progress against targets to the timescales set by the business.• Work within and promote the philosophy of safe team working.• Ensure procedures are in place to maintain Business Continuity.• Actively demonstrate and promote the National Grid Values Show less
