  Palms on George Ltd operates the Award winning Tuakau Hotel, the Mercer Airfield, Tuakau Bridge Motorhome Park, Mercer Motel and Mercer Landing - Kitchen & Bar.The Tuakau Hotel opened Accommodation and Conferencing late in 2011 after a massive refurbishment.The Mercer Airfield is known for skydiving, has backpackers accommodation, a growing cluster of aviation businesses and flying clubs and welcomes new aviation ventures to locate there.In the summer of 2019 we opened the Tuakau Bridge Motorhome Park with parking for 10 self-contained motorhomes and 3 luxury cabins onsite beside the Mighty Waikato river adjacent to the Les Batkin Reserve.Late in 2019 we reopened the refurbished Mercer Motel and opened Mercer Landing - Kitchen & Bar in May 2023 (delayed from 2020 due COVID-19).   NZAero (formerly Pacific Aerospace) manufactures aircraft and component parts for the following Types - 750 XSTOL, Cresco, Fletcher, CT-4, and E350 Expedition (formerly Found aircraft). We support a world-wide fleet of aircraft numbering in excess of 400. The business dates back 70+years and has produced 700+ aircraft, serving and supporting agricultural, tourism, flight training, SAR, humanitarian, wildlife protection, transport and skydive activities. NZSkydive Ltd (Trading as NZAero) acquired the assets of Pacific Aerospace Ltd (in liquidation) in April 2021 with the aim to continue supporting the existing fleet and develop new product for the future.
