Parametric analysis carried out in PLAXIS to identify key parameters controlling strain softening and progressive failure in embankments. Production of simplified reduction factor charts to allow geotechnical engineers to account for progressive failure without the need for additional complex analysis. Paper published in Mathematical Problems in Engineering (see pdf below). GSI for undergraduate class CEE345: Geotechnical Engineering. Position involves demonstrating, leading and grading laboratory classes and holding office hours to aid students in understanding lecture material.
