  An experimental and simulative study on 'liquid-liquid extraction of hydroxyacetone using hydrophobic solvents' was carried out in my M.Tech. work where I got some exposure to software like Aspen Plus and Gaussian. My M.Tech. thesis was totally about how a liquid interacts with another liquid and how to separate them.
