  After an amazing year, I will hand over my responsibility as Treasurer at Bedrijfskundig Genootschap Delft. I trust that my successor is well instructed by the experience I have gotten during my year. I am looking back at a peculiar board year, this of course has to do with the COVID-19 pandemic. While most people in my surroundings said it has ruined their year, I saw it as a new challenge that has asked the most of my board's creativity. Even when only having online platforms, there are still many exciting events you can arrange for your members.   My graduation internship at Rhenus Logistics B.V. will be my final step towards completing my study, Industrial Engineering. During my graduation internship I will be looking at the improvement of the throughput times of trucks during the loading and unloading procedure. The reduction of the throughput times is necessary to make sure the profitability of the operation is insured. On the other hand the reduction in throughput times will make sure the satisfaction of the external trucking companies hired by Rhenus increases. Show less
