  Under the supervision of the Deputy Ambassador, I assisted the diplomats in their activities in Kosovo.   My main task was to conduct research activities in line with the objectives and the work of the organization. Notably, I developed and collected data for my research project "From stigmatization to new risks: COVID-19 and the rights to water and sanitation of Roma in Serbia”. In this context, I also joined and assisted the monitoring activities of the UNHCR-funded project "Improved local integration of internally displaced persons through enhanced access to social rights".• Identified and analysed 50+ reports, international legal documents and academic publications to increase knowledge of Roma discrimination, marginalization and special vulnerabilities in the context of Covid-19 and advocate Roma social and economic rights.• Joined team visits in Roma informal settlements to collect new data for research and supported the monitoring activities of the UNHCR-funded project “Improved Local Integration of internally displaced persons through enhanced access to social rights” monitoring access to water and sanitation.• Prepared and conducted online interviews with relevant stakeholders for my research project “From stigmatization to new risks: COVID-19 and the rights to water and sanitation of Roma in Serbia”.   The OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities (HCNM) promotes conflict prevention and integration of diverse societies. HCNM was established to identify and seek early resolution of ethnic tensions that might endanger peace, stability or friendly relations between OSCE participating States. Under the Supervision of the Legal Advisor, I worked within the section primarily dealing with South-Eastern and Central Europe assisting advisors in their monitoring, research and drafting activities. • Assisted the Legal Advisor and other members of the team in their daily tasks, including in preparing materials (country reports, talking points and analysis) for visits of the High Commissioner and other team members focusing on issues affecting inter-ethnic relations and integration of national minorities in South-Eastern and Central Europe. • Conducted research and reported to the Head of Section emerging threats/opportunities relevant to the HCNM mandate, including political forecasting and trends linked to the Russia-Ukraine conflict.• Compiled the section’s daily news digest based on local news outlets to inform the HC and the Section on ongoing developments in concerned Member States.• Researched, analyzed and summarized minority and indigenous peoples related reports, statements and decisions of international Organizations, national institutions and non-governmental organizations.• Prepared minutes in four high-level online conferences on statelessness, discrimination against indigenous people, refugee rights, and gender mainstreaming in policing organized by the OSCE and the UNHCR.   Food systems coordination intern - external relations and governance

  The External Relations and Governance Department (ERG) has led IFAD’s engagement in the Food Systems Summit and is now entrusted with the delivery of IFAD’s contribution to the setup and functioning of the FSS follow up mechanism. ERG is also coordinating IFAD’s institutional deliverables through respective divisions/departments, which are: lead in the management of the FSS coalitions on Decent Work and Living Income and Wages and Public Development Banks; lead the means of implementation – Finance; and the operationalization of FS transformation in IFAD Programme of Loans and Grants in the context of broader alignment to country-led plans and strategies.Activities:• Supported the daily activities of the Food Systems Coordination (FSC) team, including but not limited to: scheduling of meetings, preparation of background materials, preparation of meeting minutes, performing research on key issues and topics such as smallholders, food security, climate finance and regional food systems initiatives.• Supported the preparation of power point presentations, communication products, social media messages, newsletters and other informative materials.• Kept track of the various events, activities and meetings in which IFAD Senior Management and Staff participates.
