  After being out of work 2 weeks I was fortunate enough to be re employed by Truro and Penwith College, successfully applying for the role of Safeguarding assistant, working with staff and students based within Student Services .Starting at the beginning of the new academic year I again find myself again motivate and stimulated within my new role working and supporting staff and students across both Truro and Penwith sites.Working with both staff and students re safeguarding issues.Working partnership with the MARU and other important external agencies .Safeguarding link for all the local schools and others based across the UKProviding a central point for schools re potential and current SG issuesContact for CSWA development of a working partnership with the Young Carers Service.Working closely with the Probation and Youth Offending teams across the county.Supporting the CSE county wide forumsWorking across both Truro and Penwith sites .Development of a safer learning environment for both young learners and vulnerable adults.
