      I was a Professional Figure Skater for the touring Global Entertainment Company, Feld Entertainment's Disney On Ice. Selected among thousands of figure skaters, I toured the world for 11 years performing as various household characters, namely Barbie, Jasmine, Belle and Ariel. Within my 11 years, I worked my way up to becoming a Principle Performer, as well as Assistant Line Captain and eventually Line Captain. This was a great honor as it was my first stepping stone to developing my leadership style and skills. Expected to represent this world-wide brand to the best of my abilities, I learned immensely about the value of an honest and positive reputation. I was also lucky enough to be chosen for hundreds of PR appearances including live and recorded TV, radio and print interviews, hospital visits and book readings which were all invaluable experiences. Show less Chosen over hundreds of skaters as Line Captain, I was responsible for the teaching and maintaining a high level of performance for 40+ skaters.More than just a teacher or coach, I was expected to consistently help newcomers feel comfortable with the challenges of life on the road. I was also the first line of communication from skaters to upper management as well as backstage crew. Expected to enforce all rules based on a monetary fining system, I learned invaluable lessons about leading by example. This opportunity also led to internal training as Production Director.
