  The Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health is an academic department of the Faculty of Population Health Sciences of University College London and together with its clinical partner Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH), it forms the largest concentration of children's health research in Europe. In this extremely motivating environment, I evaluated the preclinical efficacy of chemotherapeutics drugs against neuroblastoma tumour. Strategic planning and problem solving approach resulted in the identification of 3 (among ~1500) effective chemotherapeutics drugs against neuroblastoma tumour. Show less

  By using the ground-breaking genome editing technology CRISPR/CAS9, I generated 4 new knock-out models of embryonic stem cells. These new tools could pave the way for the study of neuronal differentiation in both, physiological and pathological conditions. - Successful collaboration in 3 interdisciplinary projects that resulted in the publication of 4 scientific manuscripts.- Managing one project that led to the development of a new cells-isolation method in complex biological samples.- Effective and confident science communicator, both oral and written, as demonstrated by the participation to 6 international scientific conferences, organization of 6 lectures and courses, the publication of 4 scientific articles and 1 chapter book.
