  I recently have been part of a project aimed to design and characterize a novel 3D culture system that shows key events in the pathogenic cascade of Alzheimer’s disease, including extracellular amyloid β plaques together with accumulation of hyperphosphorylated tau protein.Research project focuses on the effect of gamma-secretase inhibitors and modulators on the differentiation in human neuronal progenitor cellsResearch project focuses on how BACE1-mediated processing of contactin-2 regulates Kv1.1/1.2 channel metabolism.
