      The main responsibility of the Program Director for Camp Rock was to develop fun and educational programs for over 90+ campers that ranged in age (ages 7-13), race, and socioeconomic demographic. In this role, my main challenge was to come up with meaningful programs on a limited budget, therefore, creativity was vital in order to succeed on a weekly basis. Another major aspect of this job included leading staff in team building activities and weekly goal setting. I was in charge of making sure that the camp staff set obtainable goals each week that would not only improve them as counselors, but also ensure the safety, and overall positive experience of the campers. As the Program Director, I worked closely with the Camp Director to ensure that the Boys & Girls Club came was in compliance with American Camping Association regulations, and also assisted with other mini projects that helped the Camp Director successfully run the summer camp.
