  I am Principal Lecturer and a member of the senior management team in the Department of Marketing, Events, and Tourism in the Faculty of Business at the University of Greenwich, London, UK. I design, teach, and assess modules including cross cultural business management, arts and entertainment live events, and contemporary marketing. I supervise and assess research projects at the post-graduate and final year under-graduate levels. My research focuses on the 'experience economy' and its impact on the representations of place. I was one of the University's key spokespeople during the London 2012 Olympics and comment regularly in the media on topics relating to the arts and entertainment industries. I also oversee my department's transnational academic partnerships in regions including south-east Asia, Europe, and southern Africa. My work includes the development of new overseas programmes, ensuring operational consistency and making improvements to existing programmes, quality assurance, site inspections, and periodic formal reviews. I have previously served on Academic Council and currently sit on a number of panels and working groups. Show less
