      Piano Teacher

      I received my classical piano diploma in June 2019 after 12 years of classical music education. Since October 2019, I have been delivering piano lessons to two students aged 24 and 29. This has enabled me to develop my communication and teaching skills, as well as the ability to pass on the knowledge required to my students successfully.

      I was honored to be selected as one of two undergraduate ambassadors representing the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, following a comprehensive evaluation process.As the first-ever elected ambassadors, we had to collaborate closely with our counterparts from other Civis Alliance Universities. This involved the exchange of ideas, initiatives, and experiences, with the overarching goal of curating a dynamic and informative experience for incoming and outgoing exchange students within the Civis Alliance.- Responsible for providing support through open communication, public events, and practical guides to both incoming and outgoing exchange students of the CIVIS Alliance.- Participated in planning and assimilating feedback sessions with the Global Office of NKUA for issues related to student mobility.- Served as the first point of contact for peers interested in learning more about the alliance.- Participated in the University’s orientation days- Organized events for incoming students- Participated in information sessions for outgoing students, shared my experiences and advice on how to leverage CIVIS initiatives for personal and professional growth- Contributed to CIVIS Days by participating in engaging events and activities at ULB ( Université libre de Bruxelles)- Assisted in the organization of CIVIS Student Days at my university.       Some of my duties were:- 'Patrolling’ the beaches daily (Morning observation), during which loggerhead reproductive activity is recorded.- ‘Patrolling’ the beaches every night (Night observation), including measuring and tagging the nesting females.- Protecting the nests in situ (with ‘fencing’) from human activity and relocation of nests when necessary.- Constructing special ‘shading’ structures to guide hatchlings to the sea in areas where artificial light (from roads, shops, etc.) may disorient them when they emerge from the nest.- Excavating nests after the hatchlings have emerged to estimate the hatching success.- Increasing public awareness of tourists and local residents by operating a seasonal information station in the old city of Rethymno, information tables, and organizing presentations in hotels and on tour boats.Working language: English Show less

      The Permanent Delegation of Greece to Unesco

      As a legal intern at the Permanent Delegation of Greece to UNESCO, I gain experience and insight into international diplomacy and multilateral cooperation. I assist with the daily work of the Permanent Delegation, and I actively participated, especially during the crucial period of the Executive Board of Unesco (04.10.2023-18.10.2023) and the 42 Session of the General Conference (07.11.2021-22.11.2023). My responsibilities include:- Drafting high-quality reports in Greek, English, and French on many crucial matters for the Organization.- Actively participating and compiling reports on several attended conferences, meetings, and side events of UNESCO (indicatively regarding the Situation in Ukraine, ICPRCP, the ethics and legal framework of artificial intelligence, the ocean law policies). - Assisting with the monthly meetings of the Electoral Croup I of member-states of Unesco (where Greece has the Presidency)- Drafting of Verbal Notes and background research on candidacy procedures of Greece to Unesco's Commissions- Contributed to organizing the Event for the UNESCO-Greece Melina Mercouri International Prize for the safeguarding and management of cultural landscapes.- Liaising and connecting with other foreign delegations and representatives from other member states Show less

      Researcher at the Parthenon Clinic

      The Parthenon Clinic is a multidisciplinary research group currently drafting a report on the legal and diplomatic implications of the Parthenon Marbles’ possession by the British Museum. As one of the five members of our research team, my goal is to research and draft a document referring to the Diplomatic communication reinforcement of the issue. Our mission is to involve as many young people as possible around the world, to raise awareness concerning the cultural, political and legal implications of the possession of the Parthenon Marbles and to bring unknown aspects of the issue to the attention of the general public.
