      The topic for my dissertation work is "Prevalence and risk factors of acid peptic diseases in India". Under this, I am working on various APDs like gastritis, GERD, DU etc. However, the main focus has shifted to gastritis as it is very prevalent in India. My dissertation work aims to identify the % prevalence and risk factors of gastritis in North east India as it is geographically and culturally distinct from other parts of India and compare it with North India.
