      Senior strategy advisor

As a Senior Strategy Advisor at NHS England, I am responsible for driving forward a number of programmes to deliver some of the key commitments of the Five Year Forward View. I am currently leading on the delivery of the Innovation Test Beds, one of NHS England's flagship programmes. Seven Test Beds have been identified as real world sites for evaluating ‘combinatorial' innovations that integrate new technologies and other novel approaches that offer the prospect of better care, and better patient experience of care, at the same or lower overall cost. The programme has so far enabled more than 4000 patients to access and benefit from 40 innovations. My role involves working with partner organisations including ALBs, AHSNs, commissioners, providers, industry partners and patient groups in co-designing and implementing an approach for diffusing the highest value innovations at scale and pace for the benefit of whole populations. In addition to influencing senior stakeholders and liaising with representatives from similar programmes across NHS England and wider governmental partners, I also act as an account manager for 3 Test Bed sites and provide them with hands on support in developing and implementing their innovations.
