      Trade Facilitation West Africa (TFWA) is a multi-donor program. The EU had assigned GIZ the task of implementing Action Promoting Trade in West Africa II (WATIP II) as part of the TFWA Programme. Two major outcomes were envisaged by the action:1. improved implementation of trade facilitation measures consistent with WTO TFA commitments at the regional and national levels2. Increased efficiency of trade corridors between West African countriesThe following three result areas were achieved under WATIP II: Result 1: Regional trade facilitation policies and instruments are developed and implemented Result 2: More efficient movement of goods along selected corridors. Result 3: Barriers for women and small-scale traders reduced. 收起
