Responsibilities included supervision of contract work, monthly payment estimates, daily reports, material testing, progress meetings with state officials, wage checks, and more. ■ Quality control inspector for PennDOT’s P3 Project, which involved the full replacement of 525 small bridges throughout PA over 3 years. Responsibilities included supervision, conformance verification, documentation, and material testing of crucial phases of construction in accordance with plan documents and Pub. 408 specifications (i.e. culvert placements, deck placements, concrete pours, subbase compaction, paving, line striping, and more). Overseeing all work activities from demolition to new erection. ■ Superintendent for the demolition phases of 2 bridges carrying I-295 in Washington D.C. as part of the interstate improvement for the new South Capitol Bridge. Subcontractors to South Capitol Bridgebuilders.■TCI-2 for the $26 million rehabilitation project on Pittsburgh’s iconic Rachel Carson Bridge (5 spans, 995 ft). Repair work includes full deck and sidewalk replacement, 18 different types of steel repairs, pier, abutment, and pylon patching, replacement of 18,000 rivets, light fixture updates, utility installation, paving, full superstructure painting, and more. Responsibilities include overall supervision of contract and plan work, daily reports, monthly payment estimates, lump sum breakdowns, material testing verification, change order quantity estimates, wage checks, progress meetings with county officials, shop drawing approvals, weekly tool box talks, and more. [Feb 2019 – Present]■Perform NBI inspections of small bridges for government entities followed by a full report on current bridge conditions. [Nov 2018 – Present] ■Construction inspector for a two-phased, 26-piece box culvert installation under SR51. Work included culvert installment, undercutting, subbase compaction, underdrains, concrete testing, post-tensioning, grouting, paving, long-term temporary traffic set ups, and more. Responsibilities included overall supervision of planned work, daily reports, and material testing. [March 2018 – Nov 2018]■Misc. work – developed new marketing strategies and created brand material for the company, wrote work proposals, filled out prequalification packets for out-of-state design work, assisted with beam column selection calculations for a new building at a community college.
