  While serving as IT Manager & Systems Administrator for Airage Media, I was in charge of administering and maintaining the company’s network, including multiple servers, applications, and more than 100 computers running diverse operating systems, in a time-sensitive publishing environment. While attempting to engineer new cost savings after assessing business needs, I devised plans for improving operations with IT solutions, including moving the company to a full VOIP system, which allowed seamless phone communication within the office and around the country. A noted fiscal hawk, I negotiated extensively with vendors and contractors, resulting in significant cost savings after the completion of the transition.In another major initiative, I supervised installation of the network, desktop computers, copiers, and the telecommunication system, training and supporting 120 individual users on the technology.
