"The program includes study prior to leaving and enables soon-to-be 12th grade students to travel to the holy land on a highly subsidized, comprehensive trip. It is made possible through the generosity of the Jewish Federation of Nashville and Middle Tennessee and several private donors."

  My team and I worked directly with the principal, Daniel Florentin, of the Bat Yam Agricultural School to held develop and found an experimental farm for mentally handicapped residents. The farms allows for its mentally handicapped members to generate a source of income through harvesting plants and other natural resources, extracting the essential oils, and selling them. Due to their mental capacity they had very limited workforce prospects, through these farms they are able to sustain a suitable income to provide for themselves and maintain a relatively independent lifestyle. This experimental farm was the first of its kind in Israel and was set to expand throughout the rest of the country. Show less
