      In 2018, I decided to join the Project team where I was responsible for providing administration services to various individual projects and also managed some of the smaller non – critical projects. Following redundancies in 2019, I was the only person remaining in the team and quickly had to head up a £650,000 internal project alongside the Business Analyst, to implement a revolutionary bespoke multi – stage job tracking software system which was due to replace the existing offering. My duties and achievements in this role have included; - Ensuring all projects are kept within proposed timescales and budgets - Assisting Project Manager’s in the delivery of key work projects in line with agreed objectives - Liaising with internal stakeholders in order to establish and fully understand project requirements - Providing regular reports on project milestones - Regularly updating project activity plans - Creating and managing test plans to ensure all user acceptance has been agreed - Liaising with both national and international suppliers on individual activities throughout project cycles - Monitoring business and project risks; updating and issuing internal risk registers documents to the Project Manager and project sponsors, keeping them abreast of any issues or problems Show less The purpose of this role was to assist the Operations Manager with the smooth running of the department. I am highly motivated, dedicated and committed in all aspects of my life. So when faced with the reality of redundancy after 13 years working for the same amazing company and in the middle of a pandemic, I took the news by the horns and ran with it...fast! I felt grateful I was able to focus my time on my daughter and see her through a time which I hope she never has to go through again and also take time to really think about what I want with my next job. So after many SD walks with a friend, Olive Branch VA was born!! I will be offering day-to-day admin, operational and project support to small to medium businesses.
