  I am now posted in Investment Promotion and Financing Facility II (IPFF II) Project. It is financed by IDA of the World Bank (WB) with a counterpart financing from Government of Bangladesh (GoB). IPFF II Project refinances in private sector led infrastructure projects through participating Banks/Financial Institutions (PFI) on long term basis. My role is Project Financial Management which encompasses financial planning, budget preparation, making fund available from WB and GoB, maintain liaison with different ministries and the WB, prepare Financial Statements and submit various reports to different ministries as well as to the WB. In addition to that I am also engaged in analyzing infrastructure loan applications submitted by PFIs for infrastructure projects. Show less I was posted in the Department of Banking Inspection-1 of Banhladesh Bank (BB), which conducts on-site supervision on commercial banks. Main role was to examine banks' Financial Statements, ensure IFRS as wel as local accounting policies mainly set by BB and implement Basel Guidelines through compliance procedures. Beside this assessing Internal Control and Compliance procedure, Asset Liability Management, SREP, reviewing credit norms and ensuring compliance with Bank Company Act and different policies, guidelines, circulars issued by BB was covered in my job role.
