  Legal executive

  I was actively involved in the trademark practice of the firm, assisting client in filing trademarks both locally and worldwide, responding to Office Actions, and eventually obtaining successful registration of the marks. I had the opportunity to commence opposition proceedings as well as defend opposition actions. I was also part of the enforcement team, conducting police and private raids and inspection of seized goods, protecting clients' intellectual property and goodwill.

  Manager (litigation)

  My work in Chambers as manager of the litigation support team involved managing the team, conducting training, prioritising and distributing work tasks. I also monitored work processes within the team, anticipated issues and suggested improvements or mitigating measures. As legal executive, I drafted advice for the Government, as well as court documents for litigation. I also supported the legal team for the Government in SGB Starkstrom Pte Ltd v The Commissioner of Labour [2016] SGCA 27.
