Research scholar working on Sufism and contemporary film, media and sound culture at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, JNU, New Delhi.I completed my Bachelors in English (Hons.) from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta (2010) and my Masters in Film Studies from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, 2012. I have worked in publishing and features journalism, starting as a trainee editor with Ratna Sagar (2012), The Statesman-Calcutta (2013) and as an assistant editor with Dorling Kindersly India (2013-2014). Of recent I was working as a Program Coordinator with the DFF, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India (2015)
