      Rigshospitalet. My master thesis deals with mutation status of the endoribonuclease Dicer in relation to Malignant pleural mesothelioma. At this point I use gene sequencing to investigate the mutations. Furthermore, I am interested in the expression pattern of Dicer by using RT-qPCR. Mutations in Dicer have recently been found in other cancer types such as ovarian cancer and perhaps it is an important biomarker in cancer.
