  Special Advisor to the Vice Chief of the Defence Staff (present)Command Mentor (2020-2023)• Led coaching and training team for naval leaders progressing to the command level at sea and ashore..• The senior Canadian Armed Forces officer attached to Ontario's Ministry of Health for COVID-19 vaccination planning (2021).Naval Captain in charge of Ontario (2017-2020)• Led 1,500 personnel of varied backgrounds and responsibilities in seven bases throughout Ontario, the largest organization of its type in the country. Coordinated and operationalized efforts between all three levels of government and multiple agencies on a regular basis. Manages both budgets and logistical support. Led Navy's response to COVID-19, floods and other domestic emergencies in Ontario.• Chosen to represent the Royal Canadian Navy in South America, the Caribbean and Asia on diplomatic missions on seven occasions. • Twice decorated by the Commander of the Royal Canadian Navy, for leadership in architecting a new, nation-wide strategic communications program.• Commanded the warship HMCS MONCTON.   • Sought out to coordinate Ontario’s health care system response to emergencies in the advent of the Pan-American/Parapan American Games in Toronto. Led a diverse team of health-care and technology professionals. • Managed a multi-million dollar budget, including the creation of an Information Technology system to allow hospitals, paramedic services, federal, provincial and municipal governments and Non-Governmental Organizations to communicate in a secure, real-time manner. • Employment repeatedly extended and widened in scope to take leadership roles in the arrangements for potential Ebola response, membership in the City of Toronto's Syrian Refugee Task Force and other aspects of emigration to Ontario, Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation, and response to pandemics and mass casualty incidents.• Recognized with the province’s Amethyst Award to reward “Outstanding Achievement by Ontario Public Servants”.
