Heavily involved in client and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle, supporting the Program Manager and Engineer to Contract in reporting on both fiscal and contractual performance. Conduct inspections as per design specifications, reporting on variations, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Responsible for generating detailed and accurate reports and effectively communicating them to the leadership team and clients. My work focuses on capital projects, including the full construction of roads and bridges under FIDIC contracts, MDB-based contracts, and road asset maintenance contracts, all within a leadership framework that prioritizes quality over quantity.Additionally, I have led emergency contractor crews in the aftermath of natural disasters, overseeing the reinstatement of low-water crossings, drainage networks, sinkholes, and road clearance in the central interior networks. I coordinated with utility providers and stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health, to implement emergency response plans, gather feedback, and allocate resources to meet these demands efficiently. In maintenance contract, key responsibilities included verifying chip seal designs, material test results, asphalt concrete (AC) paving, and associated test results. I managed both sealed and unsealed road maintenance and coordinated concrete works programs. My duties also encompassed pavement repairs, sweeping, line marking, corridor access request management, high shoulder removal, existing drain maintenance, drainage jetting, and overseeing rehabilitation projects. Show less I focused on identifying and mitigating risks to health and safety for both workers and the public by adhering to SWMS, managing special processes, and implementing corrective actions. I ensured that environmental risks were identified and managed through documented processes, such as Progressive ESCP. My responsibilities included collating field records and inputting data to support accurate daily productivity and monthly forecasting costs.I also prepared quality control documentation, including ITPs, to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications. Ensuring Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) was as per the Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (COPTTM) and making necessary on-site improvements was part of my duties. Reporting incidents, non-conformances, and near misses was a key aspect of my role, alongside developing strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. My proficiency with Microsoft Excel was crucial for verifying material frequency usage, material test results repetitions, witnessing pavement field tests, and taking joint measurements on-site.
