  Intern

  As an intern for H&P I worked as a floor-hand on a land based drilling rig. My responsibilities included connecting and tripping drill pipe and bottom-hole assembly, cooperating with third-party service company to assemble and test complicated equipment (MWD, gyro, and directional motors), maintenance and cleaning of the rig, performing repairs to mud pumps and other systems, and helping the derrick-hand with mixing of chemicals into drilling fluid.

  Field completions engineer

  During my tenure at Halliburton I worked as a Field Engineer, overseeing the successful completion of thousands of hydraulic fracturing treatments. I was responsible for supervising site crews, coordinating with operations managers to ensure equipment rig-up was safe and efficient, and forecasting material consumption and coordinating deliveries based on real-time inventory. I trained and mentored several engineers, all the way from the on boarding process to the time they were competent to work on their own.I collaborated with the customer, the Halliburton Technology Team, and the Halliburton Business Development team to ensure that specific goals were being met, and custom-tailoring hydraulic fracturing treatments to maximize oil and gas production. I was tasked with interpreting real-time data and making operational adjustments to chemical and proppant concentrations to ensure a successful treatment. Once the treatment was performed, I would create and present post-job data reports to the customer in a clear and concise manner. Show less
