In addition was a supervisor for 40+ officers on the night shift, in which my duties varied from administrative to surveillance to security to law enforcement. Other duties experiences include direct workforce protection, physical security, coordinating with other law enforcement agencies, implement security/rules/laws/procedures as needed for the situation, conduct administrative, organizational, scheduling, training, roster assignments, handling security/law enforcement issues, ensuring personnel operating requirements, operating database system. Enforcement of security inspection procedures, ATFP measures FEMA NIMS training, and various other training courses. I was actively involved as a mentor to subordinates and colleagues allowing for open communications and recommendations for improvement. My biggest achievement as a Lieutenant was creating a new scheduling tool to organize the officers’ days off, vacation, and training requirements. This tool enable our managers to plan days off for an entire year, instead of 30 days at a time, which reduced the amount of time managers spent in the office completing administrative functions.
