  I was part of the Lead Strategic Group for England Golf's "Increasing Membership and Participation" (IMP) initiative.This was a 2 year programme where £300k sourced from England Golf's special project funds was utilised to put new initiatives and ideas to the test with an aim to increase Membership and Participation of the game in Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Staffordshire.Ideas formed out of this group were "GolfforU" which was free golf tuition in public parks through out the Summer months, "Golf Express" branded as all the game in half the time, and the Regional Business Advisors and Club Support programmes.
