      Work experience

A phenomenal two weeks within the Dubai office of PwC where my experience was split between the Assurance and Deals service lines. The office itself really reflected the staggering global aspects of the firm.Within my time in assurance I learned a vast amount, from IT Risk assurance, exploring database management systems such as Oracle, to the process of Internal Audit Advisory where I was able to enhance my business acumen through my involvement in a project on a client site. Meanwhile in Deals, I was placed within Transaction services, where I worked within a small team to aid in the final stages of a project prior to the client handover. In this week, I also enhanced my presentation and teamwork skills further through an internal presentation to my mentor. Show less

The client are rolling out a platform on a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and required a framework to ensure that user costs were managed effectively before a full roll out. The second stage required a critical reflection of my time at the university where I had to explore the competencies I had developed in great detail during my time there. I primarily focused on the development of my leadership skills, project management skills, team work for a common goal, and addressing & overcoming an area of weakness in my skill set.
