  At the Maastricht Sustainability Institute (Maastricht University) I worked within the research area of sustainable urban development. Most of my research projects focused on improving the health of citizens by redesigning public spaces of cities, or by improving the spatial planning processes behind such redesign. I was also involved in teaching MSc courses around such topics. Main project: www.ruimtegids.eu. At the Maastricht Sustainability Institute (Maastricht University) I developed a spatial model that assesses how urban greenspace impacts human health.
