  My current job as a hostess is altogether a different experience, I have the flexibility to take on part-time roles whenever they fit into my daily schedule. In April 2023, I had the opportunity to join a group of 50 hostesses and attend an on-site event in Denmark for a week at ECCMID 2023. It was a truly valuable experience where, in addition to my work schedule, I had the chance to meet many other volunteers, not only from Portugal but also from various other nationalities as well as put to good use my interpersonal skills during the event, whilst assisting the organization and guaranteeing a flawless event.   As the coordinator of the ER department at SET, I oversee a week-long event where various companies visit our university campus in Tagus Park. To achieve this, I have the responsibility of:-Organizing our team through a corporate candidate selection process, at all stages of the process-Strategically planning and preparing the department for the event several months in advance to ensure its success.During this event, students have the opportunity to strengthen their liaison with over 50 companies through various engaging activities, including small booths, speed interviews, lectures, case studies, and much more.   I enrolled in the 1st 2023 edition of the Summer Internship Program, 'Summer Next Generation,' at COFIDIS, alongside 10 other amazing interns. During this six-week program, I became a part of the Financial and Juridical Department, allowing me to explore various areas within the company, including accounting for clients, fiscal matters, client management, and treasury, among others. Additionally, I had the opportunity to work on a final project focused on optimizing treasury operations.

  Presently, I have an active role in our local Student Supportive Unit, known as NAPE (Núcleo de Apoio ao Estudante). In this role, I act as a mentor for new students in their first year at Instituto Superior Técnico. Additionally, I mentor incoming mobility students who are entering their master's degree programs, assisting them in their experiences and providing guidance within the academic community, an active step into turning their stay, academically and personally, an all-around success.
