As a team member, I was committed to maintaining a high standard of organisation and tidiness in the warehouse to ensure an optimal shopping experience for customers. I demonstrated a proactive approach towards promoting a safe working environment by taking the initiative to identify and address potential hazards for both team members and customers.   Youth mp

  In 2022, I was the Youth MP for the East Coast Bays, representing Erica Stanford. A New Zealand Youth MP is a young person selected to participate in a program that aims to teach them about the parliamentary system and engage them in the democratic process. They attend a three-day Youth Parliament event held at the New Zealand Parliament where they debate legislation and engage in select committee work, encouraging youth political engagement and amplifying young voices on important issues. During my time as Youth MP I went to speak to over 1,000 students in my electorate about the importance of voting. I also attended Youth Parliament in July 2022 and spoke in the house on the chosen mock bill, the abolishment of the starting-out wage. Show less

I play a crucial role in informing decision-making and shaping the direction of the university by providing valuable insights into student experience as I share how students are navigating university life at meetings. Additionally, I regularly interact with students and provide assistance in navigating the various resources and services offered by AUT. I am also involved in the planning and execution of events, with the aim of enhancing the overall student experience.
