      Being a part of DHL program of First Choice Champion and Continuous Improvement,I got an opportunity to implement the process and Efficiency improvement in receiving area of DHL site at Mississauga, ON.● Managing five different department - Front Shop receiving, Fresh & Frozen (temperature controlled), SSI robotic and automation receiving, OS&D (Overage Shortage and Damages- Non-Compliance) and Accounts payable (AP) tickets with operations excellence and strategic leadership for meeting weekly target of 2 million Units and cases received for 4 different logical warehouse of Shoppers drug mart and Loblaw Superstores.● Managing 300+ buyers, Supplier and vendor non-compliance tickets, purchase order priorities, concerns, AP tickets.● Responsible for all inbound inquiries, event products, hit of the month receiving purchase order with customer visible on threshold hours verification report of the products in the reserve location for on time stores orders● Working on process improvement and operation excellence for inbound of DC-30 (Loblaw and shoppers Drug Mart site) to improve efficiency and productivity on receiving, put-away flow, OS&D (Overage, Shortage and Damages) cage management.● Designed the layout for new dock expansion having sortation area, ready to cutaway zone for new dock.● Implemented lean Six Sigma and DMAIC methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency by minimizing the receiving errors which results the less claims and lower the AP (Accounts payable) tickets● Maintained Power BI and Caspio Ticket portal Dashboards for DC Claims and OS&D issues to illustrate analytics for area of opportunity.● Utilized project management tools and methodologies to track various project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and communicate project status to stakeholders● Collaborated with 300+ buyers and vendors to establish new Caspio ticket portal and enhanced communication mode to create, manage and escalate the various receiving related discrepancies. Show less SSI Robotic and Automation is a key department in Distribution and logistics for Shoppers drug Mart Stores and Loblows Superstores to provide the millions of SKU's throughout the year for consumers for their day to day essentials. Department required a lot of operational and functional improvements for up-gradation of equipment, rebuilding the asset cage, WMS(Warehouse Management System) integration with WAMAS (SSI interface) and productivity trackers (UPH-Units per hour) Below are the main objective for the project:-• Collaborating with the engineering department to increase the efficiency of products slotting.• To Lead strategies and plans to ensure product flows, inventory levels, planning tools, standardized metrics and business process improvement resources which supported the logistics team to drive lowest total cost.• To Collaborate with Software developers to increase the accuracy of the client WMS and automated order picking system.• To demonstrate exceptional team building capability which ultimately lead to increase productivity.Outcomes:-• Efficient product slotting improved the overall product flow with less shorts with better replenishment function.• Maximized productivity exceeding 64K retail units in support of 800 pharmacies on a national level.• Significantly reduced client claims by more than 30%, limiting operational losses by $24K on a weekly basis• Lead support for DHL-Loblaws start up e-comm grocery micro-fulfilment center in a 2M consumer-based radius.• Improved productivity tracking system helped to have more visibility and provided the opportunity for better coaching to workers for more efficiency with lean operation.
