-High school diplomaActivities and Societies: AVID Program. Participated in track and field for three years Joined field hockey sophomore year though my senior year. Was able to obtain my varsity letter first year as well as be the captain for JV. The core component for the AVID Secondary System is the AVID Elective, which supports students as they challenge themselves in classes that are more rigorous. Students are taught study skills, note taking, time management, writing skills, and research skills, while being immersed in a college-going culture.
