Cozy Pupz are handmade blankets with a purpose: for every blanket sold, I donate a blanket to a rescue dog. I LOVE dogs, and I have a special spot in my heart for rescue dogs, so I wanted to do something to help them. Giving a rescue dog – who’s still searching for that loving forever home – a cozy, handmade blanket just for him can help ease the transition into his new home. I made my first doggie blanket for our first rescue pup, Enzo, a Gordon Setter/Lab mix, when he was just a puppy and it was his faithful companion until he lost his fight with cancer at just 5 years old. Losing him was one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced, and I still miss him every day.But out of great loss comes great determination, and Cozy Pupz was born. I am constantly awed and amazed by the work that rescue organizations do, and I wanted to find a way to help. So, I create, sell and donate these dog quilts in memory of Enzo, the sweetest dog that I ever knew, and in honor of all the wonderful people who help, adopt and love rescue pups. Show less
