  Software engineer, ai training pipeline

  Modified existing, as well as created new automated pipelines, for retrieving manually captioned video content and running it through AI models in order to refine their output. Team focused on English audio content from people with non-native accents, to improve model's ability to understand different kinds of English audio.Pipeline consisted of Python scripts and shell scripts, managed by slurm. Used technologies such as kaldi, g2p, and webvtt.

  Quality assurance tester

  Accessibility tester with training from the DHS (Certified Trusted Tester) for testing websites for compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA. I also tested software and hardware according to Section 508 standards.I tested over 100 products/services alone (68 websites, 48 desktop apps, 3 hardware devices). Each one received a detailed report, with issues organized by severity.1 year contract where colleagues were appreciative and impressed with the work, despite upper management not renewing the contract (for anyone, not just myself).Official job title: IT Support Tech 2 Show less
