  I have performed my Master thesis entitled as “A multistage approach for dynamic real-time optimization under uncertainties” under the guidance of Prof. W. Marquardt, Process Systems Engineering, RWTH Aachen and Dr. P. Balasubramanian, Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. The aim of the research project was to develop a real-time optimization approach taking into account the different objectives through a multistage problem formulation and solution of the dynamic optimization of the chemical engineering processes.   I was doing a project under Marie-Curie Fellowship in the field of Chemical reaction engineering. Within the framework of my project, I have been working on the development of a generalized methodology for reaction mechanism elucidation of chemical reactions, in particular heterogeneously catalyzed reactions. This reaction mechanism elucidation further helps in the catalyst design.
